Masterpiece receives two million euros

The start-up's app is designed to help craft businesses organize themselves better.
Berlin-based startup Meisterwerk raises two million euros in its seed round, the company announced on Linkedin announced. According to the statement, the round is led by a Swedish founding consortium led by Marcus Krüger. Seed + Speed Ventures and family office Wecken & Cie - Care4 AG are also participating. Existing investors Speedinvest, Innovation Nest and Kauri Tech Investment GmbH are also investing.
Nick Sonnenberg and Bertram Wildenauer developed the Handwerker app in 2018.
"We don't just want to offer craftsmen a software solution. We want to help them acquire more digital know-how and improve their project management," the founding duo says of the idea. With their app, they want to bundle the complete planning and organization of craftsmen on one platform. This should make it easy to plan assignments and exchange information. The app also includes the option of submitting vacation requests and sick notes.
