Million-euro financing round completed for FlyNex

FlyNex GmbH, a specialist in digital solutions for drone-based data collection and analysis, has successfully completed a new financing round worth millions. In addition to a follow-up investment by TGFS Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen, Sächsische Beteiligungsgesellschaft (SBG) is also participating for the first time as part of the new Saxony Innovation Capital ("RIG"), co-financed by the Federal Government's Future Fund.

Technology from Saxony for digital maintenance

With its Enterprise Software Suite, FlyNex has established itself as a provider for the automated inspection of infrastructures, primarily in the construction, energy, real estate and telecommunications sectors. Companies can use FlyNex software to plan and coordinate drone missions and evaluate the recorded data.

With this round, we are creating the basis for further expanding our European market leadership in the field of infrastructure-based drone technology from Leipzig.

Capital for scaling and AI expansion

The fresh funds will primarily flow into three areas:

• Technology platform & AI development
• Strengthening sales
• International expansion (DACH region and Northern Europe)

The aim is also to further develop AI-based analysis processes in order to evaluate infrastructure data even more efficiently and automatically.

SBG joins via Innovation Capital Saxony

For the first time, SBG (Sächsische Beteiligungsgesellschaft) is investing in FlyNex via the new "Innovationskapital Sachsen" program, co-financed by the Federal Government's Future Fund. The program supports high-growth tech companies in Saxony with equity capital.

FlyNex has developed very dynamically in terms of technology and strategy. The new funding will enable the team to scale up in a targeted manner and significantly strengthen its European position.
