Misspompadour receives seven-figure sum in first round of financing

Fure Capital gets in on the young paint and coatings company.

Start-up Misspompadour has convinced Fure Capital's investment team to invest in the DIY & Home Decor e-commerce market for the first time. According to the startup, Fure Capital is investing a seven-figure sum in the paint and coatings company, which was only founded in 2019.

Astrid Reintjes, Erik Reintjes and Niklas Lütteken founded the start-up three years ago now and are today, according to their own statements, the leading online supplier for B2C paints and varnishes in the roof space. The investors were obviously convinced by the concept: "We are very pleased to be able to support Misspompadour in the future. Above all, the depth with which Misspompadour operates in the customer relationship impressed us and also convinced us right from the start," says Sven Rittau of Fure Capital.

Misspompadour is also looking forward to the future cooperation, as founder Erik Reintjes says: "The Misspompadour team is very pleased to now bring new impulses and know-how into the company with the investors. I got to know Sven and also Jochen during a podcast recording. We've had a lot of talks and workshops since then and have already built up a very good basis of trust, so that we can achieve the next milestones with Misspompadour together, not only with financial support, but also a lot of strategic and human support."

Misspompadour said it places great value on its customer relationships. To achieve this, the team used WhatsApp for customer contact from the beginning, it said. This type of interaction has been very well received, according to the company.
