Mondu secures 100 million euro financing from J.P. Morgan Payments

The Berlin-based B2B payment company Mondu has secured debt financing of 100 million euros from J.P. Morgan Payments. The company intends to use the credit facility to expand its Buy Now, Pay Later solutions and drive forward its expansion within Europe.

Membership of the J.P. Morgan Payments Partner Network

In addition to the financing, Mondu is joining the J.P. Morgan Payments Partner Network. Through this network, Mondu can make its B2B payment solutions available to the European corporate client segment of J.P. Morgan Payments. This gives companies access to flexible payment options designed to improve cash flow, increase sales and optimize internal processes, among other things.

Growing market for B2B e-commerce and BNPL

The market for B2B e-commerce is growing strongly across Europe and will reach a volume of around 1.8 trillion US dollars in 2025. At the same time, the demand for flexible payment methods such as Buy Now, Pay Later is increasing. According to forecasts, the European BNPL market will grow from 191.3 billion US dollars in 2025 to 293.7 billion US dollars in 2030. This would mean an annual growth rate of 9 percent.
