Myflexbox comes to Germany

In the fall of this year, the smart parcel stations of the Austrian start-up will also be available in this country.
Just under four years after its founding, the Salzburg-based start-up Myflexbox is expanding to Germany. The company plans to set up the first provider-independent parcel stations in Germany by fall of this year. By 2030, the company wants to achieve a similar network density as in Austria. Initially, the start-up wants to focus on metropolitan areas, particularly Berlin, Munich, Hamburg and also the Ruhr region.
Founded in 2018, the company will be part of Salzburg AG from July and wants to enable its customers to receive and send parcels contactlessly, but also to return them. "This saves time and unnecessary routes for all parties involved," says co-founder Jonathan Grothaus. According to the company, it now has 200 locations. By the end of 2025, the network is expected to include around 1,000 locations.
"Many of our cooperation partners are convinced by our solution and want to take the step into Germany together with us," says Lukas Wieser, co-founder of Myflexbox. Currently, the start-up is still analyzing suitable locations in Germany.
