New fintech Wajve launches

The start-up has young people as its target group. The founders are well-known in the fintech scene.
The team at DeineStudienfinanzierung is launching a new fintech, to be called Wajve. Wajve is a financial platform that combines everyday banking, advice and education in one app, according to a statement. The financial app is aimed at Generation Z, people like Krautwald who were born in 1996 or later. The average age of the target group is 21.
Jenny Boldt will be head of growth. She comes from the digital association Bitkom. Head of Marketing will be Caroline Delvenne, who previously worked at insurtech Wefox. "I'm very excited to now be part of Wajve, working with an incredibly passionate team to empower tomorrow's generation in all things financial," says Delvenne. Wajve is still looking for 20 people for jobs in marketing as well as product development.
"With DeineStudienfinanzierung, we have created a platform that students love and trust," says Greener Bastian Krautwald. "With Wajve, we are now continuing our journey of empowering the younger generation by taking them beyond the topic of student finance and guiding them in all financial matters. Now we will also support them in their everyday financial matters."
