Ninox receives eight million euros

The financing round of the low-code provider was led by the two growth capital providers Hi Inov and VI Partners.
The Berlin-based start-up Ninox has raised eight million euros in a financing round. The two VCs Hi Inov and VI Partners are new entrants. The existing investors Btov Industrial Tech Fund and IBB Ventures remain on board.
Ninox offers a low-code platform of the same name, which is intended to enable small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in particular to easily digitize their business processes. "Companies are faced with the choice of either using inflexible standard software or investing in expensive, lengthy in-house developments with uncertain results," says Frank Böhmer, who founded the start-up in 2013. With Ninox, he wanted to create a system that is so easy to learn that end users in the company can use it to develop their own solutions, without programming knowledge and long training periods.
According to its own information, Ninox today has more than 6,500 customers worldwide and is one of the leading providers of such platforms in the DACH region. A particularly large number of customers come from the construction, trade and manufacturing sectors. Most customers would use Ninox to digitize their customer relationship processes (CRM), human resources (HR) and project management. The start-up intends to use the money it has raised to continue its growth.
