Pace Club secures 5 million euros in pre-seed financing

The Munich-based fitness start-up pace club has completed a pre-seed financing round of 5 million euros. The round was led by Vorwerk Ventures, with existing investor Benjamin Burkhardt and a network of angel investors also participating. The company plans to use the fresh capital to expand its boutique gym concept in the EMEA region.

New approach for the boutique fitness market

Pace Club is deliberately not positioning itself as a traditional fitness studio, but as a technology-driven training platform. The focus is on a new boutique gym model that focuses on efficiency, data and community.

A central component is the optimized use of space. The studios are specially designed for high-density urban locations. At the same time, the company relies on a fully digital infrastructure.

Data-driven training and capacity optimization

A key differentiating feature is the specially developed software, which is aimed at data-based utilization control. The aim is to avoid waiting times and efficiently maximize the use of training areas.

A structured booking system gives members targeted access to training times and areas without interruptions or overcrowding.

Focus on the "new generation" of athletes

Pace Club is aimed at a growing target group of fitness enthusiasts who want to combine training, performance development and community. The concept combines group energy with individual training and aims to develop ambitious amateur athletes into visible athletes.

The company already operates the world's largest HYROX Performance Center in Munich, where it combines strength and cardio training with a community-driven approach.

Expansion planned in Europe, the Middle East and Africa

With the current financing, Pace Club intends to expand its presence internationally and open additional locations in the EMEA region. The aim is to make the concept scalable and set new standards in the boutique fitness segment.
