Parloa raises €20 million in successful financing round

Parloa has successfully closed a €20 million Series A. A collaboration with Microsoft enables Parloa customers to gain immediate access to the OpenAI language model in Azure.
Berlin-based Parloa is revolutionizing automated customer communications with its natural AI speech application. The company recently received €20 million in a successful funding round, led by EQT Ventures. New funding comes from existing investors Newion and Senovo. The investment will further accelerate the company's expansion to establish an international presence.
Parloa offers a user-friendly customer service platform that enables companies to handle thousands of customer inquiries simultaneously. In addition, Parloa's AI can communicate in natural language and resolve queries independently. This is expected to relieve customer service staff from repetitive tasks.
Parloa is a Microsoft partner and uses Microsoft Azure to run its platform. It provides companies with an intuitive user interface that can be run without programming skills to develop their own solutions. The company also works with large language models such as Generative Pre-trained Transformer (GPT) through OpenAI Service.
Well-known investors of German Unicorns
In addition to EQT Ventures, investors from previous funding rounds also invested in Parloa. Among them are many founders of German Unicorns such as Erik Muttersbach and Michael Wax (Forto), Hanno Renner (Personio) and Nicolas Peters (Signavio), as well as Jens Bormann (Muuuh! Group). Other well-known investors include the German Red Cross, Decathlon and Teamviewer.
Doreen Huber, Partner at EQT Ventures, is convinced that Parloa's technology will make a significant contribution to innovation in customer communication. The investment in Parloa shows that AI in customer contact has tremendous growth potential and could become one of the largest software markets in the world.
