Heal Capital, the venture capital fund set up by private health insurers, has raised 100 million euros.

The private health insurers have invested a total of more than 100 million euros in the newly founded Heal Capital fund. More than twenty companies from the Association of Private Health Insurers have participated. "With our Heal Capital fund, we are driving forward digital innovations that enable even better medical care for everyone," says PKV CEO Ralf Kantak.

Heal Capital uses its growth capital to invest in young digital healthcare companies in the fields of diagnostics, therapy and infrastructure. To date, the fund has invested in the medical messaging service Siilo, the digital symptom checker Infermedica and the neuromodulation software from CereGate, which is designed to help Parkinson's patients, for example.
