Heal Capital, a venture capital fund set up by private health insurers, has raised 100 million euros.

Private health insurance companies are putting a total of more than 100 million euros into the newly established Heal Capital fund. More than twenty companies from the Association of Private Health Insurers have participated. "With our Heal Capital fund, we are driving digital innovations that enable even better medical care for all," says PKV CEO Ralf Kantak.

Heal Capital invests its growth capital in young digital healthcare companies in the fields of diagnostics, therapy and infrastructure. So far, the fund has invested in medical messaging service Siilo, digital symptom checker Infermedica and CereGate's neuromodulation software, which aims to help Parkinson's patients, for example.
