Plan A receives three million US dollars

Venture capitalists Demeter from France and Coparion from Germany lead the financing round. Softbank becomes a strategic investor.
Start-up Plan A has managed to raise three million US dollars for its software, which allows companies to monitor and reduce their emissions. The Berlin-based start-up apparently wants to use the money to further develop its software and drive international expansion.
Plan A's software is designed to enable businesses to manage their carbon footprint while mitigating their negative impact on the planet. The startup was founded in 2017 and has already attracted clients such as Société Générale, GANNI, AlbionVC, BMW Foundation, BCG Digital Ventures and Werder Bremen football club.
"In our opinion, their solution is not only the most versatile product for automated emissions capture on the market, but also creates transparency in emissions and cost structures as well as significant added value for companies through the introduction of automated business process optimization," said Alexander Lüttge, Partner at Coparion, explaining the investment decision.
