Plancraft secures 38 million euros Series B
The Hamburg-based SaaS startup Plancraft has successfully completed a Series B financing round of 38 million euros. The new lead investor is the international VC Headline, which has invested in companies such as Bumble and Gopuff. The existing investors Creandum, HTGF and xdeck also participated again. This brings Plancraft's total financing to over 50 million euros.
Artificial intelligence as a game changer on the construction site
The fresh capital will primarily flow into the further development of the software with a focus on artificial intelligence. The aim is to build an AI-supported system that supports tradespeople with bureaucracy, communication and quotation processes, including voice control as the only interface.

Skills shortage, climate targets and bureaucracy are driving demand
The timing is strategically favorable: Europe's construction and skilled trades sector is under massive pressure. The shortage of skilled workers, the enormous need for renovation work to achieve climate targets and increasing bureaucracy are putting a strain on small businesses in particular. This is precisely where Plancraft wants to come in and enable efficiency gains through automation.

20,000 customers
Plancraft is growing rapidly: since Series A in June 2024 (we reported), the team has more than doubled from 40 to over 100 employees. Over 20,000 trade businesses in 11 countries are already working with the software. New locations and AI functions are in the works, and the company is currently looking for talent in the areas of product, development and AI.
Plancraft is therefore well positioned for the future and can now actively look to the future thanks to the successful Series B.
