POLLY has raised a seven-figure sum in an oversubscribed financing round. Prominent investors such as Manuel Neuer and the Just Spices founders support the startup.

Ellmau, Austria, February 18, 2025 - The startup POLLY, known for its alcohol-free alternatives, has raised a seven-figure sum in an oversubscribed financing round. Investors include Manuel Neuer, Just Spices founders Ole Strohschnieder and Béla Seebach as well as Graphit NeoTaste GmbH, the food & beverage venture arm of Franziska and Gregor A. Piëch's family office. POLLY plans to use the new capital to expand in the retail sector, extend its product portfolio and enter the international market.

Growing market for non-alcoholic indulgence culture

The market for non-alcoholic spirits and alternatives is growing rapidly. More and more consumers are opting for conscious enjoyment and healthier lifestyles. POLLY has set itself the goal of actively helping to shape this development.

With the new financing, the company intends to expand its market presence in the DACH region, develop new products and drive forward international sales. The non-alcoholic alternatives are already available in the first REWE, Edeka and Globus stores as well as in Poland and Spain.

Investors back new product strategy

The investors include Graphit NeoTaste GmbH, which invests in innovative food & beverage concepts. Professional footballer and entrepreneur Manuel Neuer and the Just Spices founders also participated in the financing round.

Variety of non-alcoholic alternatives for modern consumers

POLLY offers a wide range of alcohol-free alternatives, including substitutes for gin, aperitifs, rum, tequila, sparkling wine and ready-to-drink cocktails. The start-up is aimed primarily at GenZ and millennials who value conscious consumption, natural ingredients and a modern lifestyle. The striking design and taste similar to classic spirits are intended to make it easier to switch to non-alcoholic alternatives. "With our products, we want to make alcohol-free enjoyment more accessible and move it further into the center of society," says Kahnis.

POLLY plans to use the fresh capital not only to expand its retail presence, but also to develop new products and expand into other international markets.
