Proservation secures seven-figure seed financing

Growth for Proservation. The Stuttgart-based startup receives fresh capital to bring its plastic-free, biodegradable packaging solutions to market.

Stuttgart, April 3, 2025 - Proservation has successfully closed a seven-digit seed financing as part of L-Bank's InnoGrowth BW program. The financing was bundled by the accredited intermediary EurA AG (EurA Venture GmbH) and enables the industrial ramp-up of the company's biogenic packaging solutions.

Sustainable packaging solutions for industry

Proservation develops environmentally friendly alternatives to conventional packaging materials. The company uses agricultural residues such as grain husks to produce biodegradable protective packaging. The patented material RECOU offers shock-absorbing properties and is a sustainable alternative to polystyrene.

Strategically oriented investor consortium

The financing was made possible by a consortium of experienced business angels and strategic industry partners who are supporting the company with capital, expertise and market access. Details of the partners involved will be announced at a later date.

Financing model in line with the corporate philosophy

Proservation pursues a steward-ownership model that ensures long-term entrepreneurial independence. This concept ensures that control and profits remain tied to the entrepreneurial purpose rather than being geared towards short-term exits.

With the new financing, Proservation will expand its production from pilot to industrial production and further drive market penetration.
