PSG Equity successfully closes a €2.6 billion fund to support the growth of European software companies.

London - Growth equity firm PSG Equity has successfully closed its second European fund, PSG Europe II (PSGE II). This fund surpasses its predecessor, PSG Europe I, with a fund size of over €2.6 billion. The closing of the fund reflects the interest of new and existing investors, including state pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, family offices and private individuals.

With PSGE II, we are well positioned to participate in the growing investment opportunities created by the ongoing digitalization of the European economy.

Mark Hastings, CEO of PSG

Europe, as the second largest IT and software market in the world, continues to offer investment opportunities in the software sector. The digitalization of the European economy and the increasing demand for B2B software companies are contributing to this. However, the European software sector is fragmented, creating opportunities for companies like PSG that can leverage local expertise and a pan-European network.

Specialized investment team

PSG has an investment team that focuses exclusively on high-growth B2B software companies. With almost 200 experts in Europe, North America and Israel, PSG is a partner for companies pursuing a growth strategy. PSG has invested in over 130 companies and facilitated add-on acquisitions in Europe, North America and Israel. Germany is a core market for PSG and the company has made four platform investments in Germany in recent years.

PSG has made 22 platform investments in Europe to date and has facilitated over 60 add-on acquisitions of its portfolio companies in over 15 European countries. The company continues to pursue a strategy of investing in areas such as cybersecurity, FinTech, payments, ERP and CRM solutions and workforce management.

We will continue to leverage our global software expertise to invest in fast-growing areas such as cybersecurity, FinTech, payments, industry-specific ERP and CRM solutions and workforce management.

Dany Rammal, Managing Director and Head of Europe at PSG

PSG Equity is a growth equity investor that works with software and technology-based services companies to foster growth and build strong teams. With the successful completion of PSG Europe II, PSG cements its position as a growth investor in the European software sector and is well positioned to capitalize on investment opportunities in Europe's digital economy.
