Rebl Industries signs contracts with H&M and IKEA

The Swedish robotics company has signed framework agreements with H&M and IKEA to deploy its AI-powered robots on a global scale. The RaaS solution (Robotics-as-a-Service) enables companies to deploy them quickly without high initial investments. They only pay for the service, but not for the hardware.
Robotics-as-a-Service as a game changer
Rebl's robots specialize in performing tasks such as sorting, palletizing and depalletizing. These are mainly tasks that were previously physically strenuous and repetitive for warehouse staff. The Robotics-as-a-Service (RaaS) model allows companies to use the technology without high upfront investment and only pay for the service actually provided.
This approach challenges traditional automation models and opens up new opportunities, particularly for industries with previously low levels of automation.
Successful deployments at H&M and IKEA
H&M has been using robots in the Nordics online sales warehouse in Sweden since summer 2024, with demonstrably positive effects. Further locations are now being examined. IKEA Svenska AB is also joining the collaboration via the framework agreement.
The robots have proprietary software, AI and advanced sensor technology. They recognize unsorted goods in real time, interact with people via intuitive interfaces and benefit from a neural network that continuously improves its performance through joint learning.
New CEO for global scaling
Alongside the expansion, Rebl has appointed an external CEO for the first time. Nicholas Tengelin brings experience from senior positions at Volvo Cars, Hedin Mobility Group and Hogia. His mission is to rapidly industrialize Rebl.
Our AI-powered robots will be quickly integrated into warehouse operations and open up completely new automation possibilities - even for industries that have not previously benefited from robotics

Support from Pulsen Group
Rebl Industries was founded in 2018 and has locations in Gothenburg, Borås and Skövde. Since 2021, the company has been supported by the Pulsen Group under the leadership of Jonus Bartholdson.
With Tengelin's appointment and the new contracts, co-founder Alexander Westerling believes the company is ideally positioned:"This is just the beginning. Together with Nicholas, our team and strong partners, we want to establish Rebl as an international robotics center and take warehouse automation to a new level."
With contracts with H&M and IKEA, a scalable business model and an experienced CEO at the helm, Rebl Industries is embarking on a new phase of growth. And anyone who has ever worked in a warehouse knows that robots can be a real boon for employees. From the current information, we are unable to assess the extent to which the technology can be used directly in retail, but it is certainly a big step forward for large-scale logistics.
