ReportAId receives 2.2 million euros in pre-seed financing

San Raffaele Hospital already relies on ReportAId. The startup aims to improve efficiency and quality in the European healthcare system with its solution.

Milan, May 6, 2025 - Italian healthtech startup ReportAId has secured €2.2 million in pre-seed funding. The round was led by the Italian Founders Fund, with participation from Heartfelt, Exceptional Ventures, 2100 Ventures, Vento, Ithaca, B Heroes, Vesper Holding and angel investors Luca Ascani, Enrico Giacomelli, Francesco Zaccariello and Luca Foschini.

The core of the problem: unstructured healthcare data

Despite billions invested in digital infrastructure, a large proportion of clinical data remains unused - 80% is stuck in unstructured reports. This is exactly where ReportAId comes in: With an AI platform that automatically analyzes medical documents and converts them into structured, interactive treatment plans.

Better patient guidance, greater efficiency for clinics

The solution improves both the quality of care for patients and operational efficiency for hospitals. According to ReportAId, it can generate up to 25% more revenue - through clearer workflows, better appointment scheduling, optimized medication processes and targeted follow-up care.

The platform is already being used at the renowned San Raffaele Hospital and is being introduced at other institutions such as Ospedale Isola Tiberina - Gemelli Isola.

Founding team with healthcare experience

ReportAId 2024 was founded in Milan by Giuseppe Faraci (CEO), Claudio Caletti (CTO) and Luca Foresti (Chairman). All three have deep insights into the challenges facing European healthcare systems and the necessary technical expertise to solve them.

The aim is now to also cooperate with public institutions and spread the solution throughout Europe. According to Irene Mingozzi (Italian Founders Fund), ReportAId is a "concrete, impactful example of AI in healthcare, with real effects on continuity and quality of patient care."
