Sablono achieves Series A of over 5.3 million euros

The main investor will be Thomas Bachmaier, founder of Thinkproject. The start-up digitizes construction processes.

The Berlin-based start-up Sablono has successfully completed its Series A financing round and raised 5.3 million euros. The main investor is Thomas Bachmaier, founder of Thinkproject, a leading provider in the field of construction intelligence. The Munich-based software engineering provider Nemetschek, which is already a seed investor in Sablono, remains a co-investor. Bachmaier and Matt Wheelis from Nemetschek will join Sablono's advisory board.

"We are now in a position to combine two essential building blocks: Sablono's team's drive for innovation and pursuit of growth and Thomas Bachmaier's relevant experience in successfully developing a platform business," says Lukas Olbrich, CEO of Sablono. "Sablono's vision of bringing production and supply chain management to the construction industry excited me from the start," says lead investor Bachmaier. "What impressed me the most was the dedication and perseverance as well as the constant pursuit of simplicity in the solution."

Sablono was founded in 2013 and offers a Construction Execution System. This allows processes in the construction process to be digitized. Sablono now supports projects with a total value of more than 15 billion euros in increasing efficiency on construction sites. Its customers include Dreßler Bau, Schneider Fassaden and Lendlease.
