Sablono achieves Series A of over 5.3 million euros

Thomas Bachmaier, founder of Thinkproject, will be the main investor. The start-up digitizes construction processes.

The Berlin-based start-up Sablono has successfully closed its Series A financing round and raised 5.3 million euros. The main investor will be Thomas Bachmaier, founder of Thinkproject, a leading provider in the field of construction intelligence. The Munich-based software engineering provider Nemetschek, which is already a seed investor in Sablono, remains a co-investor. Bachmaier and Matt Wheelis of Nemetschek join Sablono's advisory board.

"We are now in a position to combine two key building blocks: Sablono's team's drive for innovation and pursuit of growth, and Thomas Bachmaier's relevant experience in successfully developing a platform business," said Lukas Olbrich, CEO of Sablono. "Sablono's vision to bring manufacturing and supply chain management to the construction industry excited me from the beginning," says lead investor Bachmaier. "What impressed me most was their dedication and perseverance, as well as their constant pursuit of simplicity in their solution."

Founded in 2013, Sablono offers a Construction Execution System. This allows processes in the construction process to be digitized. Sablono now helps projects with a total value of more than 15 billion euros to increase efficiency on construction sites. Its customers include Dreßler Bau, Schneider Fassaden and Lendlease.
