SCALARA receives three million euros from BfW Bank

BfW Bank invests in a PropTech for the first time: SCALARA receives fresh capital for the expansion of its digital management solutions while remaining owner-managed and independent.

Brühl, May 13, 2025 - SCALARA GmbH, provider of a software platform for digital property management, announces the successful completion of a three million euro financing round. The main investor is BfW Bank, which specializes in the housing industry and is involved in the PropTech sector for the first time with this investment. The aim of the financing: the targeted further development of the SCALARA platform with a special focus on digital banking functions and process automation for property management companies.

Trust from existing partners and new investors

In addition to the fresh capital commitment of three million euros, BfW Bank has acquired shares worth a further 1.5 million euros from existing investors, sending a clear signal of long-term commitment. In addition, existing partners such as BeyondBuild, Bauwens and neoteq ventures as well as new investors are converting convertible loans amounting to around two million euros into equity. SCALARA is thus not only receiving new financial resources, but also a clear vote of confidence from investors.

Focus on digital application channels and bank integration

Product development will focus on expanding the 360° platform to include functions that are being developed together with BfW Bank. These include, in particular, fully digital application processes and seamlessly integrated banking solutions. These are intended to greatly simplify the previously complex handling of financial services for property management companies.

A key element of the new financing round: SCALARA remains owner-managed and independent. The funds will be used exclusively for the targeted expansion of the platform and the scaling of the company. This course underlines SCALARA's claim to act as a long-term, stable partner in an increasingly complex market environment. SCALARA was founded in Brühl in 2020.
