Series C for Stoïk: 20 million euros

The European cyber insurer Stoïk has successfully closed a Series C financing round of 20 million euros. The round is jointly led by Impala (investment company of the Veyrat family) and Opera Tech Ventures, with existing investors Alven and Andreessen Horowitz also participating. Stoïk plans to use the capital to expand its AI-based security functions and further consolidate its position as Europe's CISO.

Europe's CISO approach to prevention, protection and incident response

Since its foundation almost five years ago, Stoïk has established an integrated 360° model for cyber risks that today protects over 10,000 companies in Europe. The offering combines insurance cover with preventive measures, AI-supported monitoring and incident response teams, providing companies with risk management and protection from a single source. Around 600 new companies are added to the program every month.

Market presence and international growth

Stoïk is active in several European markets, including France, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Austria and Luxembourg, and works with over 2,000 broker partners. In 2025, the company recorded year-on-year growth of over 200 percent with a net premium volume of around EUR 50 million.

With the Series C round, Stoïk intends to further develop its internal AI capabilities for prevention, detection and incident response, continue its international expansion and increase the number of employees from 130 to 200 within a year. In this way, the company aims to expand its market leadership in Europe and protect companies even more effectively against systemic cyber risks.
