Serverfarm secures $747 million in additional financing capacity to meet growing demand for cloud and AI solutions

TORONTO, December 19, 2024 - Serverfarm, a global data center provider and operator, has successfully increased its North American credit facility to $1.637 billion led by TD Securities. This additional financing capacity of $747 million will be used to meet the growing demand for hyperscale colocation capacity for cloud and AI deployments.

Increasing demand for hyperscale capacity

The North American market is facing a sharp increase in demand for cloud and AI deployments, while the availability of short-term capacity is limited. Serverfarm, with its extensive portfolio of secured land, reliable supply chains and award-winning design and operations teams, is well positioned to meet these demands at scale as a leading hyperscale partner.

Following our recent 500MW announcement in Houston, we are pleased to have additional capital available to strengthen our ability to provide near-term capacity for our key customers. The increasing demand for cloud and AI solutions, coupled with long-term commitments from our hyperscale customers, is sustainably driving our growth.

Support from strong financing and lender networks

The increase of the credit facility was made possible with the support of Manulife Investment Management, represented by Recep Kendircioglu as Global Head of Infrastructure. Kendircioglu emphasized: "The lenders' interest is a sign of the strength of the server farm platform and the company's significant growth potential."

With the expansion of the facility, seven new lenders have joined the banking syndicate, which now consists of 19 partners in total.
