Start-up BW Summit 2025 in Stuttgart

Over 150 start-ups, new business models and intensive networking opportunities. Baden-Württemberg's start-up ecosystem will showcase its full strength at the Start-up BW Summit on June 2, 2025.

Stuttgart, June 2, 2025 - When it comes to innovation, entrepreneurship and future topics, the Start-up BW Summit has long been a fixture. This year, the event will once again take place at the Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart. The organizer is the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism. Start-ups, investors, SMEs and partners from all over Germany and Europe are expected to attend. The Karlsruhe network fokus.energie e.V. and the specialized energy accelerator AXEL will also be there.

A strong signal for Baden-Württemberg as a start-up state

With the Start-up BW Summit, the state of Baden-Württemberg offers a central platform where start-ups can present themselves, make new contacts and approach investors. The event sees itself as a showcase for pioneering technologies, clever business models and practical funding programs. Particularly visible: the so-called LÄND of Start-ups, where AXEL-supported start-ups such as nineti GmbH, HeatPump23 GmbH, Radiant Systems, Ammonigy GmbH and roboloon UG will be showcasing their solutions.

The energy accelerator right in the middle

AXEL - The Energy Accelerator is represented with several formats. In addition to its own stand, the program will be participating in the "University Consulting & Technology Transfer" consulting island in the LÄND of Opportunities and in the Investors and Corporates area at the L-Bank pre-seed stand. At the GreenTech BW Stage, AXEL will also provide insights into the support of venture clienting projects in the energy and sustainability sector.

Since 2018, AXEL has already supported 232 teams with more than 500 founders, from the initial idea to market entry. This makes AXEL the only accelerator in Germany with an exclusive focus on the energy industry.

Live presentations and pitch finals

In addition to the exhibition and networking formats, the focus will be on the final of the Start-up BW Elevator Pitch: HeatPump23 GmbH, winner of the AXEL Energy Cup, will be competing against other finalists from all over Baden-Württemberg with a smart floor heat pump. The competition offers young companies the opportunity to present themselves to a broad public and potential investors.

Wide range of topics and practical support

Overall, the summit program is divided into three thematic areas: the LÄND of Start-ups, the LÄND of Investors and Corporates and the LÄND of Opportunities. The event thus covers the entire startup value chain, from the early phase to financing and collaboration with established companies.
