Unchained Robotics secures 5.5 million euros for expansion

Investors such as Future Industry Ventures and Teklas Ventures support Unchained Robotics with 5.5 million euros to promote robotics solutions for SMEs.
Paderborn-based startup Unchained Robotics is receiving €5.5 million in funding to expand global access to robotics technology in the SME sector. This investment comes from names such as Future Industry Ventures, Teklas Ventures, vent.io as well as existing industry business angels.
Our goal is to make robotics and automation accessible to everyone.

With the MalocherBot, Unchained Robotics has created a platform that automates manual processes in logistics and metalworking within a few hours. The investment will be used to expand Unchained Robotics' Europe-wide sales and service and make the MalocherBot available for a wider range of applications. The company offers both individually customizable solutions and complete solutions that are already in use worldwide and are also affordable for medium-sized companies.
This financing round is led by investors such as Future Industry Ventures and Teklas Ventures, who firmly believe that the future of business will be shaped by robotics and automation. The venture capital subsidiary of Deutsche Leasing Group, vent.io, and other well-known industry giants are also supporting the project.
Strong regional backup
This injection of investment marks an important step for Unchained Robotics and also for the development of robotics in Germany. The start-up from East Westphalia can draw on the good framework conditions of Paderborn as a business location and is seen as a factor for innovation development in the region.
Unchained Robotics, founded in 2019 by Kevin Freise and Mladen Milicevic, has established itself as an independent platform for automation technology and has already acquired over 200 customers in Germany for robotics and automation technology. Their mission is to translate the seemingly complex world of automation into simple solutions for SMEs.
