Upvest cooperates with Dutch bank

Upvest's B2B customers can now process their payments via ABN Amro. The two companies were already working together before.

The Berlin-based fintech Upvest is further expanding its partnership with ABN Amro. Both companies are now working together on transactions. From now on, Upvest customers will be able to process their payments via ABN Amro. ABN Amro is thus further expanding its activities in innovative services. The aim is to strengthen the intersection of banking and tech expertise, which could lead to new solutions in the fintech sector.

The Berlin-based fintech Upvest was founded in 2017 by Martin Kassing. The start-up enables other fintechs to provide their end customers with access to investment opportunities, for which it has created an investment programming interface. For Martin Kassing, the collaboration is an important step for the future and the ambitious growth plans: "We are very pleased to further expand our trusting partnership with ABN Amro, one of the most renowned European banks."

The Dutch bank had already previously supported the fintech through its venture capital division. "Upvest is one of the few European start-ups that combine a deep understanding of the capital markets with outstanding tech expertise," says Tim Wanders from ABN Amro Ventures. "We are therefore delighted to be expanding our partnership and working even more closely together on a day-to-day basis."
