Vertevis Capital Partners announces impact investment fund

The private equity company was only founded last year. Fundraising is now starting with a target volume of 350 million euros.
Vertevis Capital Partners is launching fundraising for the young private equity company's first impact investment fund. The target volume is 350 million euros. Until closing, the company intends to invest its own financial resources in particular and act as a co-investor. The investment strategy will focus on European small and mid-cap companies whose products and services promote sustainability goals.
The fund is intended to be an Article 9-compliant product in accordance with the EU Regulation on sustainability-related disclosure requirements in the financial services sector. Vertevis has developed its own system for assessing companies in terms of their contribution to a sustainable future. In terms of climate, the focus will be on infrastructure-related topics such as the decentralization of energy and resource efficiency. In the digital sector, the focus will be on healthtechs and education technologies.
Vertevis is based in Frankfurt and was only founded in 2022 by Sadia Wern-Sukhera, who previously worked as Group CFO/CRO at Deutsche Private Equity. Her private equity company sees itself as an impact investor "by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs". Formal registration as a special AIFM (Alternative Investment Fund Manager) with Bafin followed at the end of 2022.
