WALLROUND raises 4.2 million euros in seed capital

The Berlin-based PropTech startup WALLROUND has successfully completed its seed round and raised 4.2 million euros. The aim: to build Europe's largest refurbishment franchise.

The round was led by impact investors Revent and GGF. Vonovia, Europe's largest portfolio holder, further increased its stake. The round is complemented by several business angels and institutional partners.

Rethinking redevelopment processes

WALLROUND was founded in 2024 and has set itself the goal of simplifying the energy-efficient refurbishment of buildings. With an end-to-end platform, the start-up digitizes the entire process, from property analysis, planning and purchasing to implementation and quality assurance. The aim is to overcome inefficient processes, high costs and long project lead times in the construction and real estate industry.

Our aim is to make refurbishments so simple that every owner can decarbonize their building without any obstacles - economically viable and scalable.

At the heart of the vision is the development of a scalable renovation franchise. WALLROUND is primarily aimed at private landlords and institutional investors, who have hardly been addressed with professional offers to date.

The start-up intends to use the new capital to expand its team, further automate processes and expand across Germany. In addition, an advisory board will strengthen the company, including Kai Enders, former CEO of Engel & Völker DACH and long-standing president of the German Franchise Association.
