warmwind exits stealth mode with 1.5 million euros seed

After two years of development, the Jena-based start-up eva AG is raising the curtain: warmwind, the first AI operating system for visual process automation developed entirely in Germany, is entering closed beta. The solution sees itself as an "autonomous cloud employee" that automates recurring office tasks without the need for API integrations or in-depth IT expertise.
Over 12,000 interested parties have already joined the waiting list. At the same time, a handful of pilot customers, including the Ad-hoc Group, are accompanying the first productive trials in everyday life. A new product video shows publicly for the first time how warmwind works.
Simple automation without technical hurdles
warmwind was developed specifically for small and medium-sized companies that want to benefit from AI without having their own development teams or complex system integration. The solution works visually instead of code-based, requires no API links, is GDPR-compliant and runs exclusively on German infrastructure. And it has its own AI model and modular architecture that even allows on-premise installations.
Our goal is to make AI as accessible as an employee. Many companies know that automation is necessary, but fail due to the complexity of existing solutions. This is exactly where warmwind comes in.

Early financing and technological independence
warmwind was able to secure seed funding of 1.5 million euros at the beginning of 2025. The investors are bm-t Beteiligungsmanagement Thüringen, BRT Ventures and a private investor. Development is carried out entirely in-house for everything from the AI model to the user interface.
Trust, control and user-friendliness are crucial for AI in companies. That's why we build the entire technology ourselves - without dependence on third parties.

Beta phase launched - applications now open
Companies and individuals can now register for the closed beta at warmwind.space. The test phase will be gradually expanded over the coming months. The team of currently ten employees is also looking for reinforcement in the areas of software development and machine learning.
