Zelt receives fresh capital in US dollars from investors such as Nauta and Episode 1 to further develop its platform for people operations. The solution brings HR, IT and finance together in one system.

London, January 30, 2025 - Startup Zelt, provider of an all-in-one solution for people operations, has successfully closed a $6 million funding round. The round was led by Nauta, with participation from Venrex and existing investor Episode 1. The fresh funds will be used to build out the platform, introduce new features and expand geographically.

Solution for fragmented processes

Zelt addresses a problem that affects many medium-sized companies: the fragmentation of HR, finance and IT processes due to the use of numerous specialized software solutions. Zelt offers a platform that combines all essential functions - from payroll and expense management to device security and performance tracking - in one centralized system. Thanks to a flexible modular structure, companies can build workflows and automate manual processes such as employee onboarding and payroll.

Success story and growth

Since its inception in 2020, Zelt has established itself as the central platform for people operations and now has over 150 customers, including Shakespeare's Globe, Club L and Mumsnet. With a focus on automation and self-service, the platform reduces the administrative burden for employers and managers and enables companies to save up to 50% on their software costs.

Last year, Zelt achieved significant milestones, including the launch of the new "Growth" module and the support of its first customer with over 1,000 employees. "We see a global market potential of 50 billion US dollars as companies increasingly switch to all-in-one solutions and replace old systems," continues Priebe.

Strong investors on board

In Nauta, Zelt has gained an experienced investor with a deep understanding of the B2B software market.

The startup plans to use the funds to further expand its market position. The aim is to create a leading global platform for people operations that supports companies in modernizing their internal processes and enables long-term efficiency gains. With its integrated platform, Zelt wants to permanently change the way companies manage their teams.
