About Ginja
Ginja was founded in Germany with a simple observation: most productivity tools assume users already have clarity, when in reality, many people struggle at the very first step, knowing where to begin.
The company was created to address this gap by designing systems that support users before structure exists, at the stage of mental clutter and cognitive overload. Operating at the intersection of AI, productivity, and human behavior, Ginja focuses on building tools that adapt to how people actually think and work, rather than forcing them into rigid workflows.
The long-term vision is to develop a new category of human-centered productivity systems in which AI does not just organize information but actively helps users move from intention to action.
About the Product
Ginja is an AI-powered productivity platform designed for the moment before clarity exists. Instead of requiring users to structure tasks manually, it allows them to input thoughts freely through text or voice and transforms this unstructured input into clear, actionable to-dos.
Its core feature, Brain Dump, is the most-used part of the product, with users relying on it significantly more than traditional task creation methods. It has become a recurring habit for many, used as a daily reset to process thoughts and regain focus.
In addition, Ginja introduces Circle, a lightweight collaboration layer built for real-life coordination rather than corporate teams. It enables friends, partners, and small groups to plan, assign responsibilities, and stay aligned without the complexity of enterprise tools.
Compared to traditional platforms such as Notion, Todoist, or Asana, Ginja differentiates itself by starting with unstructured thinking instead of predefined systems. The goal is not just to manage tasks, but to reduce the friction between intention and action.
About the Team
Are you part of this team?Ginja is currently developed by Emmanuel Onwubuya, a Nigerian AI engineer based in Germany with experience in data engineering and intelligent systems, including work in the healthcare sector.
His background spans enterprise analytics at companies such as Airbus and Accenture, where he worked on data-driven systems supporting real-world decision-making. This experience influenced the approach behind Ginja, combining technical depth with a strong focus on human behavior and usability.
As the founder, Emmanuel leads product development, AI integration, and overall strategy, with a focus on building a system that reflects how people actually think and operate in everyday life.
