What is GriefCircle and what is GriefCare?

GriefCircle is a non-profit organization that trains grief counselors together with psychologists from various countries. GriefCare is a support program for companies, providing employees who have lost a loved one with professional grief counseling.

In Germany, grief support is usually only available in German. GriefCare addresses this gap by offering grief counseling in German, English, Ukrainian, and Turkish within the workplace.

A retired professor of American history, has over 20 years of experience as a volunteer grief counselor. Since moving to Berlin, she has supported patients at the city’s only English-speaking hospice.
