Pixel Photonics GmbH, ein führendes deutsches Nanophotonik-Start-up, wurde 2021 als Spin-off der WWU Münster gegründet. Das Unternehmen hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, hochskalierbare Einzelphotonendetektoren zu kommerzialisieren. Die Anwendungen reichen von optischem Quantencomputing bis hin zu Metrologie und Sensorik.
