Blossom Capital becomes Europe's largest Series A investor

The London-based venture capital firm Blossom Capital has launched a fund worth over 432 million US dollars, according to Bloomberg reports. This makes Blossom the largest Series A investor in Europe. A third of the money is apparently earmarked for crypto investments. Blossom Capital also invests in German companies, such as recently in the Berlin start-up Superchat.
Blossom founder Ophelia Brown is considered one of the most successful female investors. For example, she invested in the online payment company Checkout.com. This month, the company received a valuation of 40 billion US dollars as part of a one-billion-dollar financing round. This makes it one of the most valuable start-ups in Europe.
Blossom Capital is fully committed to the crypto world - apparently with success: the VC's largest investment to date is the crypto payment company Moonpay: This had received 555 million US dollars and was valued at 3.4 billion US dollars.
According to Blossom Capital, it limits itself to five to six Series A financing rounds per year. This allows the investor to concentrate sufficiently on each company it works with.
