20 million financing round for Insempra

Munich / Landshut, May 8, 2024 - Bayern Kapital, a venture and growth capital company, has decided to invest in Insempra, a biotech company based in Munich. The investment is part of a Series A financing round in which other investors such as EQT Ventures (lead), Henkel dx Ventures, Alante Capital and existing investors are also involved. The total volume of the round amounts to USD 20 million.

Insempra's focus on sustainable materials

Insempra develops bio-based and biodegradable synthetic ingredients, materials and fibers. The company offers an alternative to conventional production means and processes, which are often associated with environmental pollution and resource depletion. Insempra's technology enables companies to produce high-quality and sustainable materials on a biological basis.
