Everphone doubles sales

Everphone provides company cell phones to the employees of companies. These are the start-up's figures for the 2020 financial year.

In the 2020 financial year, Everphone generated annual sales of around 7.9 million euros. This compares to 4.1 million euros in the previous year. This means that annual sales almost doubled compared to 2019. Meanwhile, the consolidated net loss rose to around 7.3 million euros.

Founded in 2016 by Jan Dzulko, the start-up takes care of purchasing, setting up and issuing company cell phones and tablets to its corporate customers' employees. The start-up also offers "Bring Your Own Device", which allows employees to choose their own devices. At around 12.9 million euros, leased property, plant and equipment - i.e. the devices that are owned by the companies - is therefore one of the largest items on the balance sheet.

The start-up spent around 3.7 million euros on wages and salaries for its 67 employees on average in Berlin in 2020. In the previous year, the company still had 37 employees.

The company has continued to grow since the end of 2020. For example, the company expanded into the Netherlands in May last year and raised 200 million US dollars in a financing round in December. The investors were Cadence Growth Capital, Deutsche Telekom, Alleycorp and Signals Venture Capital. The company is now set to continue its expansion in the USA.
