Everphone doubles sales

Everphone provides corporate cell phones to employees of companies. These are the start-up's figures for fiscal 2020.

In fiscal 2020, Everphone generated annual revenue of around 7.9 million euros. In the previous year, it had been 4.1 million euros. This means that annual revenue almost doubled compared to 2019. Meanwhile, the consolidated net loss rose to around 7.3 million euros.

Founded in 2016 by Jan Dzulko, the start-up takes care of purchasing, setting up and issuing company cell phones and tablets to its corporate customers' employees. In the process, the start-up also offers "Bring Your Own Device," in which employees are allowed to choose their own devices. Leased property, plant and equipment - i.e., the devices that are with the companies - is therefore one of the largest items on the balance sheet at around 12.9 million euros.

In 2020, the start-up spent around 3.7 million euros on wages and salaries for its average of 67 employees in Berlin. In the previous year, the company still had 37 employees.

Since the end of 2020, the company has been able to grow further. For example, the company expanded into the Netherlands in May of last year and raised $200 million in a financing round in December. Cadence Growth Capital, Deutsche Telekom, Alleycorp and Signals Venture Capital invested. Now the expansion course is set to continue in the USA.
