Monday Rocks wins ex-SAP executive as investor

Stefan Ries, formerly HR Director at the software group, will also advise the founders of the HR start-up on its strategic direction.
The HR start-up Monday Rocks has successfully completed its Series A financing round. As part of the funding, the Düsseldorf-based company was also able to gain former HR manager Stefan Ries as a shareholder. Ries was Head of HR at German software giant SAP. With his experience, he will also advise the Monday Rocks management team on strategic decisions in the future. In addition to Ries, HR Pioneers Managing Director André Häusling is also joining the company, and the existing investors are also providing additional funding.
Monday Rocks offers companies a tool with which they can find and eliminate potential errors within teams. According to the company, the software is intended to act as a kind of digital HR consultant. In the three years since it was founded, Monday Rocks has acquired 50 companies as customers. A total of 14,000 people use the start-up's tool.
