Novaheal has gained a new operational venture capitalist in allygatr. The Bochum-based start-up has developed an app that bundles specialist knowledge for the nursing profession and aims to make it more attractive.

Berlin - Novaheal is redesigning nursing training with an app that brings all the knowledge to the smartphone. The learning app enables trainees to deepen and expand their specialist knowledge in a digital reference book. Gaps in knowledge can be closed and skills developed through playful exercises.

The drop-out rate in nursing training is around 30 percent nationwide, and this will further exacerbate the acute shortage of skilled workers in the future. Venture capital firm allygatr has added Novaheal, its 20th venture, to its portfolio called #allyance. allyance comprises a large number of start-ups, including bNear, the virtual office for Microsoft Teams, as well as the shift planner app Ordio and the job platform Workbee for nursing, medicine and social care. The exact amount of the round was not disclosed, but we have been told by well-informed sources that allygatr has made a six-figure commitment.
