Workbee launches €500 referral program

Berlin - Digital job and career platform Workbee has launched the Beero referral program to address the shortage of skilled workers in the care, medical and social sectors. The program allows the Workbee community to recommend jobs and earn 500 euros if they are successfully hired. Workbee finances this bonus by giving away part of its commissions. In this way, the platform aims to promote support and networking in the industry and reward its members for successful recommendations. With around 30,000 registered candidates, Workbee is one of the largest job platforms in the sector and aims to fill vacancies and strengthen the sense of community.

ABN AMRO and Motive Partners form strategic partnership

ABN AMRO Bank NV today announced a strategic partnership with Motive Partners, a private equity firm specializing in investments in technology-enabled financial and business services. Motive Ventures, the early-stage venture arm of Motive Partners, will manage the ABN AMRO Ventures Fund (AAV) of 15 early-stage companies. At the same time, ABN AMRO will become a significant investor in vehicles managed by Motive. This partnership aims to strengthen the fintech sector and drive innovation in the financial services industry. The strategic partnership is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2023, with key individuals from ABN AMRO joining the Motive team later this year.

Mohamed Omaizat to become CFO at Taxfix

Berlin - Taxfix has hired Mohamed Omaizat as its new chief financial officer (CFO). Omaizat has 25 years of leadership experience in investment banking, private equity and corporate management. Omaizat previously worked at companies such as WeWork, Rocket Internet and Skrill Ltd. and brings a broad expertise in financial strategy and corporate governance. In his new role as CFO, he aims to help make tax more accessible to millions of people and continue to drive the company's growth. CEO Martin Ott is delighted with the addition to the team and emphasizes the shared mission of enabling financial participation for all. Taxfix has already generated several billion euros in tax refunds for its customers and, in addition to the tax app, also offers an online financial guide and a podcast to simplify tax and financial topics.
