The founders come from the Hasso Plattner Institute in Potsdam and support companies in securing their cloud. Resility, which was only founded this year, has now convinced investors.

Resility has raised a seven-figure sum in its latest financing round. The money comes from High-Tech Gründerfonds, Brandenburg Kapital, a subsidiary of the investment bank of the state of Brandenburg, and Inqventures, incubator of IT service provider Adesso. The cloud security start-up intends to use the money to invest in its team and expansion.

Resility supports companies in securing their cloud by identifying and closing security gaps and detecting cyber attacks. Frank Reinecke from High-Tech Gründerfonds was impressed by the concept: "I invested in Resility because the solution addresses a market problem that currently affects many companies in the cloud and impresses with its unique technology and ease of use."

Resility wants to expand its offering for the clouds of Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google. The concept for the security standards of the clouds comes from the Hasso Plattner Institute in Potsdam. The founders Kennedy Torkura, Muhammad Ihsan Haikal Sukmana, Nils Karn and Thomas Fricke are alumni of the institute.
