Uwe Hück becomes Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Bownce

The start-up is delighted to have a well-staffed new Supervisory Board: former Porsche Works Council Chairman Uwe Hück is joining the Constance-based company, along with three other experts from the world of business.

Some call him the "best-known employee representative in Germany" or the "dazzling ex-Porsche man", but now Uwe Hück has been given another title: He is joining the Supervisory Board of Bownce AG. The fitness start-up is relying on the former head of the works council and deputy chairman of the supervisory board at Porsche: "We are delighted to welcome Uwe Hück as chairman of our supervisory board," says founder Vitalij Zittel. Hück will primarily be responsible for communication and representation for Bownce. He will also dedicate himself to the Bownce Foundation, which supports charitable causes.

In addition to his long-standing commitment to the employees at Porsche, Hück is also a former European Thai boxing champion. This also motivated him to take part in Bownce: "Without sport, I wouldn't be who I am today," says Hück. "I'm happy to be involved in Bownce - a truly innovative company that can not only help each individual, but us as a society."

In addition to Hück, Peter Lange, Managing Director of Lange+Meyn Immobilien, the Head of Germany at Cerberus, David Knower, and Oliver Kaiser, President of the Association of Sponsoring Agencies and Service Providers (FASPO), will also be joining the start-up's Supervisory Board.

Bownce has been around since 2019. From next year, the start-up plans to offer IoT sports equipment that, when connected in a blockchain, will enable Bownce athletes to compete against each other in exercises and win crypto coins.
