Uwe Hück becomes chairman of the supervisory board at Bownce

The start-up is pleased to have a well-staffed new supervisory board: the former head of Porsche's works council, Uwe Hück, is joining the Constance-based company, along with three other experts from the business world.

Some call him the "best-known employee representative in the republic" or the "dazzling ex-Porsche man", but now Uwe Hück has been awarded another designation: He is moving into the supervisory board of Bownce AG. The fitness start-up is counting on the former works council head and deputy chairman of the supervisory board at Porsche: "We are delighted to welcome Uwe Hück as chairman of our supervisory board," says founder Vitalij Zittel. Hück will primarily take on tasks in communications and representation for Bownce. He will also devote his time to the Bownce Foundation, which supports charitable causes.

In addition to his many years of commitment to employees at Porsche, Hück is also a former European champion in Thai boxing. This also motivated him to participate in the Bownce: "Without sport, I wouldn't be who I am today," says Hück. "I'm happy to get involved with Bownce - a truly innovative company that can not only advance each individual, but us as a society."

In addition to Hück, Peter Lange, managing director at Lange+Meyn Immobilien, the head of Germany at Cerberus, David Knower, and Oliver Kaiser, president of the professional association for sponsoring agencies and service providers (FASPO), are also moving into the start-up's supervisory board.

Bownce has been around since 2019. Starting next year, the startup wants to offer IoT sports equipment that, connected in a blockchain, enables Bownce athletes to compete against each other in drills and win crypto coins.
