1 million euros for meinhaus.digital
The PropTech startup meinhaus.digital has closed a pre-seed financing round of 1 million euros. Investors include L-Bank Baden-Württemberg and business angels from Stuttgart and Munich. The company, which was founded in 2023, intends to use the fresh capital to further scale its platform, expand strategic partnerships and significantly grow its team.
Digital planning for existing properties
meinhaus.digital is developing a platform for planning conversion and renovation projects for existing properties. The company combines AI-supported software with the expertise of architects and energy consultants.
The aim is to enable owners and buyers to plan measures, costs and financing transparently. According to the start-up, this is significantly cheaper and faster than traditional architectural services. The processes can reportedly be implemented up to ten times faster and up to 70 percent more cost-efficiently.
Billion-dollar market with structural challenges
The market for energy-efficient refurbishment is enormous. According to studies, annual investments in Germany amount to over 70 billion euros. At the same time, the renovation rate is lagging behind the climate targets. One reason for this is that planning services are too complex, expensive and time-consuming for many owners.
Cooperation with established companies is a central component of the growth strategy. meinhaus.digital is already working together with OBI. The platform combines digital planning with the DIY store's product range and implementation services. Further partnerships, including with Check24, Wüstenrot and Schwäbisch Hall, are about to be rolled out.
Team growth planned
Since the company was founded, the team has grown from three to twelve employees. By the end of 2026, it is set to expand to around 30 people, particularly in the areas of technology, sales and marketing. At the same time, the start-up plans to expand its customer base from over 100 at present to more than 4,000.
Ambitious goals until 2027
meinhaus.digital has ambitious long-term growth plans: turnover is set to increase tenfold by 2027. The company wants to play a central role in the digitalization of renovation and refurbishment planning for private properties and thus contribute to accelerating the energy transition.
Nevertheless, the start-up has to prove itself on the market. If homeowners already find the planning services too expensive and too complex, the question immediately arises as to how they will deal with the costs and difficulties of the actual renovation?
