1.3 million euros for Contentpepper
Lars-Thorben Niggehoff | 30.03.2022The marketing start-up wants to use the money to complete its SaaS offering and launch it on the market in April.
The marketing start-up Contentpepper has raised 1.3 million euros in a financing round. 590,000 euros came from existing investors, the remaining money was raised via the crowdfunding platform Companisto.
The Münster-based company is receiving the capital at a time when it wants to fundamentally change its offering. Contentpepper has been operating an enterprise marketing platform since 2013. Small and medium-sized companies can use it to play out and manage their marketing content via the web, newsletters and social media. With the help of the financing round, Contentpepper also wants to market the offering in the future as software-as-a-service, via the cloud and AI-supported, so that companies receive precisely tailored suggestions for their marketing activities.
The SaaS solution has already gone through a beta phase, and is now set to go live in April. Fifty companies have already expressed interest, the company said. "With our software-as-a-service solution, we are addressing a typical problem faced by German SMEs," says CEO Marc Czieslick.
