amberSearch successful with 2.1 million euros seed

amberSearch secures 2.1 million euros in growth capital. The startup relies on artificial intelligence to make companies' internal knowledge efficiently usable.
Aachen - The German tech startup amberSearch has closed a seed financing round of 2.1 million euros. The investment was led by Ventech, a European venture capitalist, with participation from other business angels.
With the fresh capital, amberSearch plans to further develop its AI-powered search engine and corporate GPT solution, which helps SMEs to efficiently utilize internal knowledge and automate work processes through AI agents.
AI for SMEs: efficient knowledge transfer and automation
amberSearch was founded in 2021 and already counts more than 200 SMEs in Germany, Austria and Switzerland among its customers - including RSM-Ebner Stolz, Schüßler-Plan and Zentis. The solution combines an AI-supported search engine with a chat interface and enables employees to find documents and data in seconds. This reduces search time by at least 40%, which significantly increases productivity.
Our mission is to make AI accessible to SMEs - especially in traditional industries that work with large amounts of data but often face technical and organizational challenges.
Philipp Reißel, co-founder and CEO of amberSearch
Independent AI platform with GDPR-compliant data processing
amberSearch works independently of external AI models and can be seamlessly linked to existing IT systems - both cloud and on-premise solutions. This gives companies a secure, GDPR-compliant way to use AI for internal knowledge networking.
Our goal is to integrate AI agents into companies in such a way that they not only retrieve data, but also actively automate processes and make everyday work easier.
Bastian Maiworm, co-founder and CRO of amberSearch
Growth potential
"amberSearch has proven in a short time that its technology is revolutionizing knowledge access in companies," says Nicolas Barthalon, investor at Ventech. "The team has created a product that is not only highly accepted, but has also established itself as a central tool in the day-to-day work of SMEs." The start-up was founded by RWTH Aachen graduates Bastian Maiworm, Igli Manaj and Philipp Reißel and currently employs 30 people in Aachen and Cologne.
