Arctis AI starts with pre-seed financing in the millions for AI-supported construction management
Munich-based startup Arctis AI has announced its public launch and closed a pre-seed financing round in the millions. The round was led by PT1 (Berlin/London), with participation from EWOR, Superangels and a group of prominent angel investors from the European construction and tech industry, including Alexander Schwörer (PERI), Sebastian Johnston (La Famiglia), Christian Vollmann (C1 Green Chemicals), Daniel Bronk (B+V Union) and Christian Marquart (Marvel Fusion).
From static documents to AI-supported agents
Arctis AI develops AI agents that help construction companies to structure, manage and utilize contracts across complex infrastructure projects. Instead of treating contracts as static PDF documents, the platform bundles obligations, risks, payment terms and dependencies into a central hub that is transparent and usable for project and commercial teams.
Increasing efficiency in Europe's largest industry
The construction and real estate sector is Europe's largest industry, but largely operates with manual and fragmented processes. Efficiency problems are exacerbated by the planned expansion of European infrastructure: by 2030, 584 billion euros will be needed for power grids and around 500 billion euros for transportation infrastructure. Projects ranging from large-scale housing developments to bridge repairs are increasing complexity and overloading traditional administrative processes.
Construction projects are becoming increasingly complex, but the administrative systems behind them have hardly changed. Back office work is still dominated by PDFs, spreadsheets and emails. Our tools are designed to remove this manual burden and take the sector to the next level technologically.
Leon Stawowiak, Co-Founder of Arctis AI
Founding team and initial successes
Arctis AI was founded in August 2025 by Dila Ekrem, Duc-Trung Nguyen and Leon Stawowiak at the Technical University of Munich. Just three months after its foundation, the team launched its first pilot operation in Germany. The startup has since hired its first technical specialists from AWS, Snowflake and Palantir. The fresh capital will be used to further expand the technical team, modules and customer base throughout Europe.
In the long term, Arctis AI wants to reduce administrative effort and risks in critical construction processes and create the infrastructure to support the next generation of infrastructure projects.
