Bling launches education board for family fintech sector

Bling establishes an Education Board with financial education experts to support the further development of the family fintech sector and promote financial literacy in families.

Berlin - Fintech Bling has established an external Education Board consisting of recognized experts in financial education. The goal of this board is to ensure the quality of existing and new features and to more strongly integrate educationally valuable content as well as ideas into product development.

The Education Board is supported by renowned personalities, including financial expert Anissa Brinkhoff, co-chair of the Alliance for Economic Education Sven Schumann, founder of the School Gold Initiative Babett Mahnert and principal Christoph Krüger.

Since summer 2022, Bling has offered a family banking solution where children and young people can pay independently with the Bling card and app. The Bling app teaches the whole family how to handle money responsibly. Teaching financial literacy plays a central role, and the app includes financial tips, savings goals and other features to teach financial literacy through play. Bling already reaches over one million young people via social media with informative videos on personal finance topics.

With Verena Pausder as one of the first business angels, Bling has already benefited from expertise in finance and education. The new Education Board will further strengthen this expertise. Nils Feigenwinter, co-founder and CEO of Bling, emphasizes that no function will be implemented without the approval of the Education Board.

The Expert:inside Board receives a monthly "update from the Bling engine room" with information about current developments and ideas. Members share their opinions with the Family Fintech's product team and management, and interact with them on a regular basis.

The members of the Education Board

• Christoph Krüger: Headmaster, teacher, family man, podcaster and YouTuber, who wants to inspire students for economics and finance.
• Anissa Brinkhoff: Financial journalist and founder of various podcasts on women and finance.
• Sven Schumann: Senior executive at Deutsche Börse Group and expert in economic and financial education.
• Babett Mahnert: Business and financial coach, entrepreneur, banking economist and podcaster. Co-founder of Schulgold, an online learning platform for financial knowledge for young people, teachers and schools.

The collaboration with this Education Board will help Bling further develop its offering and help even more families strengthen their financial literacy.
