Bling launches education board for the family fintech sector

Bling establishes an Education Board with financial education experts to support the further development of the family fintech sector and promote financial literacy in families.

Berlin - Fintech Bling has established an external Education Board consisting of recognized experts in financial education. The aim of this board is to ensure the quality of existing and new functions and to integrate educationally valuable content and ideas into product development to a greater extent.

The Education Board is supported by renowned personalities, including financial expert Anissa Brinkhoff, co-chair of the Bündnis Ökonomische Bildung Sven Schumann, founder of the Schulgold initiative Babett Mahnert and principal Christoph Krüger.

Since summer 2022, Bling has been offering a family banking solution that allows children and young people to pay independently using the Bling card and app. The Bling app teaches the whole family how to handle money responsibly. Financial literacy plays a central role and the app includes financial tips, savings goals and other features to teach financial literacy in a fun way. Bling already reaches over a million young people via social media with informative videos on personal finance topics.

With Verena Pausder as one of the first business angels, Bling has already benefited from expertise in finance and education. The new Education Board will further strengthen this expertise. Nils Feigenwinter, co-founder and CEO of Bling, emphasizes that no function will be implemented without the approval of the Education Board.

The expert panel will receive a monthly "update from the Bling engine room" with information on the latest developments and ideas. The members share their opinions with the product team and the management of the family fintech and are in regular contact with them.

The members of the Education Board

• Christoph Krüger: Headmaster, teacher, family man, podcaster and YouTuber who wants to get pupils interested in business and finance.
• Anissa Brinkhoff: Financial journalist and founder of various podcasts on women and finance.
• Sven Schumann: Senior employee at Deutsche Börse Group and expert in economic and financial education.
• Babett Mahnert: Business and finance coach, entrepreneur, banker and podcaster. Co-founder of Schulgold, an online learning platform for financial education for young people, teachers and schools.

The collaboration with this Education Board will help Bling to further develop its offering and help even more families to strengthen their financial literacy.
