BMH acquires stake in ALEA Hoch- und Industriebau AG

BMH Beteiligungs-Management-Gesellschaft Hessen mbH is providing ALEA Hoch- und Industriebau AG with a silent partnership in the mid six-figure range via MBG H Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Hessen. The aim of the financing is to support the expansion, digitalization and employee qualification of the traditional construction company.

Traditional company with a 150-year history

ALEA Hoch- und Industriebau AG, headquartered in Frankfurt and with a branch in Bad Vilbel, can look back on over 150 years of company history. Since its foundation in 1866, ALEA has developed steadily and is now managed by Thomas and Jan-Niklas Reimann in the fifth and sixth generation.

Under the leadership of the Reimann family, who have owned the company since 2002, ALEA shifted its focus early on from new residential construction to industrial construction, revitalization, conversion and refurbishment. With this specialization, the long-established company has successfully positioned itself in a profitable market segment. Its customers include renowned clients such as Hessischer Rundfunk, Lufthansa, Hassia Mineralbrunnen, WISAG and the Max Planck Institute.

With around 34 employees, ALEA was able to achieve solid growth even in a challenging market environment. The company is primarily active in the Rhine-Main region, has a stable order backlog and plans to gradually expand its workforce in the coming years.

Financing for digitalization and sustainable growth

The funds from the silent partnership are to be used specifically to

• drive forward the digitalization of costing and project management systems,
• promote the qualification of specialist personnel,
• invest in new construction equipment and vehicles,
• and to build up additional construction crews in order to meet rising demand.

The fresh capital not only strengthens the financial basis, but also the successful company succession, which was completed in 2025 as part of an anticipated succession. Under the leadership of Jan-Niklas Reimann as Chief Technology Officer, the modernization of the family business will continue.
