Boerse Stuttgart Group achieves record result in 2025
The Boerse Stuttgart Group once again achieved record earnings in the 2025 financial year, continuing its structural growth trajectory. In a market environment characterized by high volatility and strong investor interest, Europe's sixth-largest stock exchange group performed well in all strategic business areas, both in the traditional capital market business and in the digital and crypto sectors.
Trading volume on the exchanges increases by 17 percent
In the capital market business, the Group's three European stock exchanges (Germany, Sweden and Switzerland) recorded an increase in trading volume of around 17% compared to the previous year. The Swedish NGM and the Swiss BX Swiss again developed particularly dynamically, both reaching new record levels.
In addition, 19 new growth companies were listed on the NGM, underlining the attractiveness of the platform for small and mid-cap listings.
EUWAX AG impresses with strong results and new products
The Group's own broker EUWAX AG also achieved excellent results again in 2025. New products such as EUWAX Gold Core and EUWAX Gold Traceable met with strong demand from investors and impressed with their good tradability and competitive cost structure.
Digital business grows, crypto remains key growth driver
The Boerse Stuttgart Group's digital business also developed successfully in 2025. The trading volume in cryptocurrencies remained at a high level. At the same time, the number of retail customers grew to around 1.2 million.
Another milestone: the volume of cryptocurrencies held in custody at Boerse Stuttgart Digital peaked at around EUR 5.2 billion. The Group thus further expanded its position as Europe's exchange group with the largest crypto business.
Institutional partnerships as a growth driver
Major institutional partnerships were a key driver of structural growth. In the capital markets business, zero-fee offerings were expanded and new international partners were acquired for the Easy EUWAX trading segment and the regulated trading platform TradeREBEL.
In the digital area, the Boerse Stuttgart Group became an infrastructure partner of DekaBank, both for institutional crypto trading and for the crypto offering of the approximately 50 million savings bank customers. In addition, further European financial institutions were acquired as customers, including the major Italian bank Intesa Sanpaolo and the Slovenian broker Ilirika. The basis for this was, among other things, the MiCAR license that Boerse Stuttgart Digital received as the first crypto provider in Germany.
Tokenized assets as the third strategic business area
In 2025, the Boerse Stuttgart Group established tokenized assets as its third strategic business area. In Switzerland, BX Digital was the first platform to receive a license for a DLT trading system and began onboarding the first market participants.
The Group also introduced Seturion, a pan-European digital settlement platform for tokenized assets. The platform is based on an open architecture to overcome national market structures and is to be further developed and scaled together with European market participants.
Advisory Council strengthens strategic focus
A new Advisory Council was established in 2025 to support the long-term growth strategy. The council consists of six top international decision-makers who will contribute their experience, independent perspectives and global networks and provide impetus on key topics for the future.
