International expansion and technology development: Caeli Wind receives fresh capital to accelerate the energy transition

Berlin, London, Madrid, May 16, 2024 - Caeli Wind, the digital marketplace for wind energy sites, has raised €11 million in fresh capital in a Series A financing round. This investment, led by Notion Capital and with participation from Santander Alternative Investments and existing investors, is intended to drive the company's growth and support its international expansion.

Caeli Wind business model

Founded in 2022 by Ben Schlemmermeier and Heiko Bartels, Caeli Wind has established itself as a platform for analyzing and marketing wind energy sites. With the help of an AI-based analysis system and a digital marketplace, the company accelerates the expansion of wind energy projects. In 2023, Caeli identified 173 new sites for wind turbines in Germany and awarded them to project developers and energy suppliers, accelerating the realization of wind farms by an average of 18 months.
