Careloop receives 600,000 euros

The recruiting start-up for caregivers from abroad was able to close its seed funding round. In the coming months, the founders want to further expand their platform.
Six investors have invested in the start-up Careloop in March, it has now been announced. The start-up has set itself the task of placing care workers from abroad in Germany. "With Careloop, we want to solve the shortage of care workers in an innovative way, which benefits both the foreign care workers and the German healthcare system," says co-founder Matti Fischer.
Swiss Founders Fund (SFF) led the €600,000 funding round, Wiwo founder
reports. Also investing were Mediengruppe Klambt, WestTech Ventures, HNC Capital and other angel investors. Investitionsbank Berlin also added a start-up bonus of 50,000 euros. The founders apparently want to use the money to expand their platform and hire more employees. In addition, part of the sum is to flow into the Careloop Academy. With it, foreign nurses can compensate for possible deficits in their own training compared to Germany. This should also keep the dropout rate low. Currently, it is below five percent, as Matti Fischer told Wiwo-Gründer
